Leamington Man Charged With Street Racing In Guelph

A 33-year-old Leamington man will have to appear in court in Guelph next month for allegedly driving 50 km/h over the speed limit.

An Ontario Provincial Police officer in the Wellington County detachment spotted a red sedan speeding along the Hanlon Exwy. in Guelph around 1am Monday.

The speed limit there is 80 km/h, and the vehicle was going over 130 km/h.

A 33-year-old Leamington driver is now charged with street racing, has had his vehicle seized for a week, and his license has been suspended.
