Investigators Respond To Early Morning Fire

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says the cause of an early morning fire at a vacant home in the city's east-end is going down as undetermined.

The fire at 395 Tuscarora St. on the corner of Mercer St. started around 7am Monday morning.

It was out within an hour.

Windsor fire investigators estimate the blaze caused around $80,000 in damage.  No one was injured.

It is the second house fire in less than 12 hours in the Walkerville neighbourhood after one on Richmond St. Sunday night.

That fire caused $5,000 damage.
