Erie Shores Healthcare has a new chief executive officer.
The former Leamington District Memorial Hospital has appointed Janice Dawson as the new CEO.
Dawson has been working with the hospital for the last nine months on loan from Windsor Regional Hospital where she was the VP of critical care, cardiology, and regional stroke.
"I am excited to take on this role full time and join this outstanding group of passionate caregivers, physicians, and team members. I look forward to building on Erie Shores HealthCare's strong foundation and helping our organization continue to advance the hospital's shared purpose of caring for people's health and wellness across the communities we serve," said Dawson in a letter from the Erie Shores HealthCare Board of Directors.
The appointment takes effect April 1, 2018.
