Windsor-based employees of a fuel company have a new collective bargaining agreement.
Workers at Sterling Fuels have ratified a new three-year contract, according to Unifor Local 444. The union confirmed the result via its Twitter and Facebook accounts.
93.3% of those workers participating in the vote said yes to the deal.
Terms of the contract have not been disclosed.
Sterling Fuels is a company that provides fueling to land and marine vessels at five distribution centres in eastern Canada. Windsor is home to one of those centres, with the others in Sarnia, Hamilton, Halifax and the Eastern Passage, according to the company's official website.
The new contract affects only the Windsor employees.
