Arrest In Amherstburg Robbery

Police in Amherstburg say they have arrested a suspect after a convenience store was robbed.

Officers were dispatched to Lynn's Variety on Richmond St. just before 3:30pm Monday, after a man wearing a ski mask demanded money from the clerk.

When he got some, he fled on foot.

Police arrested a suspect Tuesday afternoon, and have charged a 27-year-old man with wearing a disguise to commit an indictable offence, and robbery.
