Cops Bust New Driver For Alleged Stunt Driving

A 21-year-old Lakeshore man may have to wait a while before he can get his full license after the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle going 160 km/h on Hwy. 401.

It turns out the driver only has a G2 license.

The police were conducting a speed enforcement initiative when they spotted the speeding vehicle on the highway in Lakeshore around 4:30pm on January 25.

The man will be in court March 5.

His license has been suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.
