Federal Offender Nabbed in Windsor

A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in Windsor.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad executed a warrant at a house on Tuscarora St. and Parent Ave. Thursday afternoon.

Tristan Henderson-Tymczak, 30, had a parole suspension warrant and another warrant for being unlawfully at large.

Windsor police had asked for the public's help last month in finding Henderson-Tymczak, who served a seven-year sentence for several weapons offences, plus robbery and robbery with a firearm. Henderson-Tymczak was known to frequent Windsor.

A nationwide warrant had been issued after the parole breach.
