Suspects Sought In Sunday Robbery

Windsor police are asking for help in identifying two suspects in a weekend hold-up.

It happened around 7am Sunday at the Mac's Convenience Store on the corner of Mill St. and Peter St. Officers were called to the location on a report of a robbery that had just happened.

According to police, two suspects entered the store. Each was wearing a mask and brandishing a knife. They approached the counter and demanded money and property from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes were taken.

They were last seen running on Mill St. toward Sandwich St. The employee was not hurt.

One suspect is described as male, 5'6" with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and across the front, with "NYC" written on the front and "212" written on the back. He was also wearing blue jeans, black shoes with white soles and a dark-coloured mask.

The other suspect is described as male, 6' and also with a medium build. He was wearing a grey, black and white jacket, black track pants, red shoes with black soles, a skeleton face mask, and a black-and-white bandanna.

Police have released a photo of the suspects taken from the store's surveillance cameras and are asking the public to take a look.
