Woman Charged After Minivan Hits House

The Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Windsor woman after a minivan hit a house in Essex.

Police say it happened around 11:30pm January 10 in the 200-block of Brien Ave. W.

The driver appeared to be impaired, so police took her into custody.

Now the 27-year-old woman is charged with impaired driving, and driving over the legal limit. Her license has been suspended, and her vehicle is impounded.

She'll appear in a Windsor court February 8.
