(BlackburnNews.com file photo)The Ontario Provincial Police say a woman seriously injured in an ATV crash in Lakeshore has died of her injuries.
Carolyn Cook, 43, was a passenger on the ATV when it struck a bridge on Big Creek at Lakeshore Rd. 303 on New Year's Day.
The man driving the ATV was not hurt.
The OPP say they do not anticipate laying charges.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
