A 35-year-old Windsor man has finally been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and robbery.
The man was found at a home near College Ave. and Partington in west Windsor on Tuesday around 1pm and arrested without incident. He's accused of assaulting someone near Dougall Ave. and Tecumseh Rd. on November 11 after a dispute broke out at a home over a transaction between a 46-year-old male victim and another man.
Police say the dispute ended when the man left in a cab but the suspect then returned a short time later with a second man, and both were carrying weapons. The victim was hit with a weapon several times and suffered severe injuries to his head, arm and leg. Something was then stolen from him and the suspects left the home. The victim was found later by a woman visiting the home who then called 911.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on November 13 and charged with aggravated assault and robbery in connection with the incident.
