The Windsor Express fell 103-99 to the St. John's Edge in a close game on Friday.
The Express trailed the Edge 25-23 at the end of the first quarter, and St. John's was able to increase their lead to 54-49 at halftime.
Windsor came out strong at the beginning of the second half to take a 89-74 lead by the end of the third frame. The Express remained in the lead until the final minute of the last quarter, when St. John's jumped ahead 98-97 with 50 seconds left to play. The Express weren't able to regain the ground and the Edge won the game with a five point advantage.
Chad Frazier led Windsor with 21 points and four rebounds, while Logan Stutz put up 20 points and three rebounds.
The Express will take on the Kitchener Waterloo Titans next on Sunday. Tip off is at 2pm in Windsor.
