One Arrested In Downtown Windsor Robbery

An 18-year-old is facing charges after Windsor police interupted a robbery in downtown Windsor Monday night.

Shortly before midnight, the suspect entered the store on Ouellette Ave. wearing a mask. He demanded cash from the employee and threatened that he had a gun.

He left the store as police arrived without any property. He was quickly placed under arrest without incident.

The Windsor man is charged with robbery and covering his face with intent to commit a crime.

Police say nobody was hurt.
