Firefighters have extinguished a fire at a vacant house near the corner of Caron Ave. and Park St. W in Windsor.
The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service reported the blaze at 478 Caron Ave. on Tuesday at around 5am. Fire officials say there were heavy fire conditions at the rear of the home when crews arrived at the scene. The blaze was able to spread to all floors of the two storey home.
There was also heavy smoke and hydro lines behind the home were affected.An investigator has attended the scene to determine origin and cause of the fire. A damage estimate is unknown at this time.
