Drugs And Cash Seized During Bust

A 53-year-old man is facing drug trafficking charges after police raided a home in Windsor's west end.

The Windsor Police Service says on Thursday at around 2:20pm, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Campbell Ave. near Grove Ave., and arrested a man at the scene without incident.

A quantity of cash and suspected methamphetamine were seized during the arrest.  After searching the home, officers seized a total of 4.1 grams of methamphetamine, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, $610 in Canadian currency, two digital scales and packaging materials.

A 53-year-old man from Windsor is now charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
