Two people from Quebec are facing charges after allegedly trying to smuggle 11 people into Canada at the Ambassador Bridge.
The driver and co-driver were returning to Canada on September 21, 2017 with a load of produce when they were sent to secondary inspection.
During inspection, Canadian Border Service Agents allegedly found 11 foreign nationals hiding behind a curtain in the sleeping area of the truck.
They were refused entry into Canada and returned to the US.
The two Quebec residents are facing 23 charges each.
