Police in Windsor say homes in the 1500-block of Dougall Ave. in Windsor had to be evacuated Friday.

Union Gas was called to the scene, and drivers were asked to stay away from the area on Dougall Ave. between Hanna St. W and Shepherd St. W.
Just before 3pm, the Windsor fire department advised that the leak had been repaired and residents were allowed back into their homes.
