LaSalle Starts New Bus Service Tuesday

When it arrives at LaSalle's Civic Centre, Mayor Ken Antaya will get on board and ride with Dilkens to the Vollmer Recreation Complex.

The entire ride is expected to take about half an hour.

The new route is numbered 25 and will make the loop daily through LaSalle on a ride that is should to take 90 minutes total.

The route will be serviced by two Transit Windsor buses during peak hours, and the fare is free until January 1.

One bus will operate during off-peak hours and on Saturdays.

There are 90 bus stops along the route reaching about 75% of homes in the urban areas of LaSalle.

Back in March, LaSalle Town Council entered an agreement with Transit Windsor to provide the service.
