Convenience Store Robbed By Man With Steel Pipe

Police are looking for a suspect after a Windsor convenience store was held up by a man wielding a steel pipe.

The Windsor Police Service says on Wednesday around 6:15am, the man entered the store on Matchette Rd. near Prince Rd., and demanded cash while brandishing the pipe.  The man made off with an unknown quantity of cash and was last seen on Prince Rd.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, 5'8" tall, with a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with "Adidas" visible across the front of his shirt, and his face was partially covered with clothing.
