A Leamington man is facing child pornography charges after an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.
The Essex County OPP received a report about a post on social media of an image of child sexual abuse, uploaded by an unknown person.
As a result of the investigation, police executed a search warrant at a Leamington residence. Two computer systems and a cell phone were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.
The investigation is ongoing.
