Windsor Fire and Rescue fought a fire at an apartment complex Sunday.
Firefighters were called to the west building of the Colony on the Park complex around 4pm on a report of a fire in one of the units. The fire was put out quickly though an adjacent stairwell needed ventilation.
Firefighters remained at the building after the fire was declared out to check on the well-being of other residents.
One person has been displaced.
Windsor Fire says the fire began in the kitchen and was accidental. Damage estimate is at $80,000.
