An 8-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Leamington.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday just before 6pm, police firefighters and EMS responded after the girl was struck on n Erie St. S near Mill St. She has since been taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Erie St. was closed between Mill St. W and Russell St. while officers conducted an investigation. The roadway was reopened just before 10pm.
