Driver, Two Children Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash

A Windsor man is facing several charges after a three-vehicle crash in the city sent one adult and two children to hospital.

The Windsor Police Service says the three vehicles collided and were severely damaged in the area of College Ave. and Campbell Ave. on Tuesday around 6pm.

A driver and two children from one of the vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

According to witnesses, one of the drivers attempted to flee the scene after the crash, but one citizen chased after him and escorted the man back to the scene, where police had arrived. Officers searched the man and seized a quantity of prescription drugs and marijuana.  Police also determined that the vehicle the man was driving had been reported stolen.
