Police say it happened around 3:30pm Monday afternoon on Dominion Blvd. near Ojibway Pkwy.
The boy's injuries are not believed to be serious.
There has been no word yet if any charges will be laid or what the boy was doing when he was hit.
The road was closed for about an hour.
The investigation continues.
