A 20-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, following a single-vehicle crash on Malden Rd. in Essex.
Ontario Provincial Police were called out to North Malden Rd, east of Trembley Sideroad in Essex on Friday around 8:25pm.
Police say the 20-year-old from Essex was driving a red Chevrolet westbound on North Malden Rd. The vehicle went off the road and hit a cement culvert.
The OPP's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were at the scene until 2am Saturday morning.
Updates are expected as the investigation is ongoing.
