The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 4-2 decision to the Erie Otters at the WFCU Centre on Thursday.
After a scoreless first period, Julius Nattinen drew first blood for Windsor with a goal 8:36 into the second. However, the Otters were able to follow up with three back-to-back goals to take a 3-1 lead going into the third.
Connor Corcoran scored 6:41 into the final frame, but Erie scored one last unanswered goal before the end of the period to earn the win.
Windsor goaltender Michael DiPietro made 28 saves out of 32 shots on net.
The Spitfires head to Sarnia to take on the Sting on Friday at 7:05pm.
