Windsor Fire and Rescue battled a blaze at a former downtown pub Sunday afternoon.
Crews were called shortly before 2:30pm to the old Pour House, located at 52 Chatham St W, off Ouellette Ave.
Multiple fire crews were on the scene and officials say that the blaze was a tricky one to fight, with heavy smoke pouring out of the first and second floors of the building.
The restaurant, a former English-style pub, had been closed for the past few years. Windsor Fire says there was no one in the building and no injuries were reported.
The fire was brought under control around 4:30pm and declared out less than half an hour later. Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office are being called to determine cause and damage estimates.
