A New Partnership For Future Kingsville School

Kingsville's new Kindergarten to Grade 12 public school will offer day care service for children 3 months to 6 years, and after school programs for kids up to 12 years old.

Director of Education Erin Kelly says the board is partnering with Division Road Pre-School, which should help kids in Kingsville transition to the classroom once old enough.

"Knowing the building and the care providers and the staff from the school that work with the day care providers -- a seamless transition can be really helpful for our students," she explains.

Kelly says the board approached Division Road Pre-School about the partnership nearly a year ago.

Right now, Division Road's facility holds up to 77 children, but it does have a wait list. Being housed in the school, its space will be expanding to serve up to 90 kids at a time.

The school board has yet to announce exactly where it plans to build its K-12 school, but expects that it will be up and running by September of 2019.
