Townhouse Fire Causes $100K In Damages

Smoking materials appear to be the root source behind an early morning house fire.

A townhouse on Wells St. in Windsor went up in flames around 4am Saturday.

Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Lee says the cause has been determined as careless disposal of smoking materials.

No injuries have been reported. However, a family of five has been displaced as a result of the fire.

Damage is estimated at $100,000.
