Memorial Services For Victims Of Lost Plane

The first of two memorial services honouring the six people who lost their lives on board a Cessna Citation 525 that disappeared over Lake Erie is Monday.

The service is at the Canfield Presbyterian Church in Canfield, Ohio.

A second memorial service is Tuesday afternoon at Liberty Presbyterian Church in Delaware, Ohio.

Shortly after takeoff from Cleveland, the plane disappeared from radar about two miles over the lake. It was en route to an airport in Columbus, Ohio.

Over the weekend, divers located possible human remains among the debris. A medical examiner is reviewing the remains now.

A release from the City of Cleveland says 46-year-old John T. Fleming, who was the president and CEO of the Superior Beverage Group was on the plane. Also passengers on the plane, his wife, Sue, his two teenaged sons Jack and Andrew, and their neighbour Brian Casey and his 19-year-old daughter Megan.
