The Ministry of Education have summoned the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board to Toronto to continue talks with Unifor 2458.
The union says at their request they were granted a meeting with the ministry and as a result of that meeting talks were scheduled.
The ministry has set aside today and tomorrow for the two sides to meet. They have not been at the bargaining table since before the strike began five weeks ago.
The union represents around 370 custodians and clerical staff for the Catholic school board.
