Windsor Police Service cruiser.The Windsor Police Service is investigating after a car slammed into a bank overnight.
Police got the call around 2:45am Tuesday that a vehicle had hit the southeast corner of the building which houses the TD Canada Trust Bank branch in the 5700-block of Wyandotte St. E at Reedmere Rd. The car hit the glass entrance.
A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the damage to the building is descripted as minor.
The driver is now charged with careless driving.
