A dog who arrived at the Windsor/Essex Humane Society extremely neglected is ready for adoption.
Deema had many severe medical issues including a bad infection in both her ears that caused them to fall off.
She has made a full recovery and is now ready for adoption.
She is a cocker spaniel type dog, approximately 1-year-old. She has lived with children and is very friendly with them. She also likes other dogs but she is very active so would need an active dog friend. Although missing her ears her hearing appears intact.
The Humane Society will accept applications for Deema's adoption until the close of adoption Friday and then will select randomly from all suitable applications.
The investigation into the person responsible for the dog's neglect has not yielded any results.
