Statistics Canada says the unemployment rate in Windsor was 5.7% in September.
That's down 0.4% from August when the rate was 6.1%.
London's rate also dipped. It was 7% last month compared to 7.2% the month before.
Despite the addition of 67,000 jobs to the national economy, the Canadian unemployment rate remains unchanged at 7%, as does the provincial rate of 6.6%.
There were more jobs in public administration, transportation, education and warehousing last month, but employment was down in healthcare and social assistance.
The ranks of the self-employed swelled by 50,000 across Canada, mostly in the health, science and technological sectors.
