The 26th Annual Ole Sandwich Towne Festival is underway this weekend. It features guided walking tours of some of the BIA's historic buildings, chainsaw wood carving, and lots of kids activities, including hay rides and face-painting. Food trucks are expected to be on hand, and some of the local restaurants will be extending their patios. Sunday, the festival will also merge with the Open Streets Festival which runs from Sandwich all the way down University Ave. and Wyandotte St. to Ford City on Drouillard Rd.
