The University of Windsor's Welcome Centre. (Photo by Alexandra Latremouille) After an exhaustive round of negotiations, bargaining teams for the University of Windsor and the union that represents campus police, engineering staff and parking services have tentative deals.
The workers, represented by Unifor Local 195 and Local 2458, were set to strike as of 12:01am Friday.
The details of the agreements haven't been released.
An email from a spokesman at the university says they will have to be ratified by both sides first.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
