Performances of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride are coming to Essex this weekend.
The Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association is hosting three shows Saturday August 20 at 10:30am and 3:30pm and Dunday August 21 at 3:30pm.
The RCMP Musical Ride tours Ontario once every four years. The Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association submitted a bid to host the performance and was granted the request earlier this year.
The troop of 32 horses and riders will perform a variety of cavalry drills choreographed to music.
Proceeds from tickets will benefit the Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association.
