The Ministry of Labour will investigate after a 47-year-old man was injured on the job at Windsor’s Ford Engine Plant.
The Windsor Police Service says officers were called to plant at 1000 Henry Ford Centre Dr. around 3:30pm on Wednesday.
Police officials say a piece of metal fell from a height and struck the back of the worker’s head, knocking him unconscious. The worker also suffered a 1in gash to his head.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been treated and released.
