'Disturbing' Graffiti References Dallas Shootings

LaSalle Police Service is investigating what they describe as "disturbing" graffiti on the bird tower at Petite Cote Conservation Area on Front Rd.

Police were notified Wednesday.

They say it was a message in red paint referencing the shooting of five police officers in Dallas and other instances where officers were killed.

It's not the first time vandals have targeted the bird tower. Back in May, someone left a similar message, and investigators think the two incidents are related.

Police ask anyone with information to call 519-969-5210 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
