Windsor police say they've finished investigating a suspicious package in downtown Windsor.
On Saturday around 8pm, the Windsor Police Service reported to Wyandotte St. E for concerns about a "suspicious package."
The investigation forced the closure of the road between Parent Ave. and Marentette Ave. for the rest of Saturday night.
Police say the Explosive Disposal Unit attended the scene, but gave the all-clear just after midnight. They say the package didn't contain any explosives, and the street has since reopened.
