The Canadian Club Brand Centre is offering new tours and events to refresh the visitor experience. "I would say most Windsorites have come in here on a tour already in the past 16 years so it's just something that we'd like to offer them, something else to do in here," says Brand Ambassador Tish Harcus. In addition to the prohibition tour and tastings the centre currently offers it's adding specialty tastings, scavenger hunt events and mixology classes. "Bringing them into these competitive whiskey tastings, letting them have some fun with the history we've been talking for so long with the prohibition, and of course how to make a great cocktail. Everybody wants to know how to make a great cocktail the right way, not the wrong way," says Harcus. The specialty tastings are available every Friday night at 6:00pm and reservations can be made for the scavenger hunt and mixology events. "The young millennial love this stuff. They love to learn the education, they love to drink whiskey," says Harcus. "So we're appealing to what the consumers are asking for." The facility will now also host small outdoor evening wedding receptions, something that has not been offered to customers previously. "We love to open up the doors, we love when people come in here and get that 'wow' effect." The CC Brand Centre will soon launch its own website to showcase the tour, tasting and rental programs. It can be found at www.canadianclubcentre.com soon.
