Windsor Police Service cruiser.Windsor police have a suspected knife-wielding pharmacy robber in custody.
Officials say a man jumped behind the counter at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. around 3am Friday, demanding sleeping pills and percocets.
Investigators then got word of a Tecumseh man, who looked like their suspect, being treated in hospital for an emergency.
They checked the surveillance tape, identified the man, and arrested a 62-year-old at the hospital just after 12pm.
