The Mac's on Lauzon Rd. at Edgar St. was held up just before 6:30pm Saturday. Police say a weapon wasn't involved, and nobody was injured.
Within the hour, officers arrested a suspect in the neighbourhood.
Police have one man in custody.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
