Pharmacy Robbed At Gunpoint

Police are looking for two suspects after a Windsor pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint.

The Windsor Police Service says on Friday around 6:30pm, two men entered Hunter Pharmacy located on Tecumseh Rd. E and ordered five employees to the ground. One of them was wielding a handgun and the two men were able to make off with a quantity of narcotics.

They fled the scene in a dark blue, four-door, mid-sized vehicle that is possibly a Hyndai Sonata. The rear passenger side hubcap is missing off the vehicle and it has an Alberta licence plate with partial number "ERC."

The vehicle was last seen heading west on Grand Marais Rd. along tracks.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a 25-year-old white male with a tattoo on his back calf. He was last seen wearing a white baseball hat with a sticker on the brim, a red bandanna, a black t-shirt, a beige zip up shirt, and black and grey basketball shorts with white stripes.

The second suspect is described as a 25-year-old white male with a tattoo on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a grey hat, a maroon t-shirt, dark blue jeans, white running shoes, sunglasses and a gold watch.

Police say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone spots the two men, they are advised to stay away and call police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
