A LaSalle man has been charged for allegedly going 140 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
Amherstburg police were on regular radar patrol when they spotted a speeder on County Rd. 9 (Howard Ave.) near County Rd. 10 on Wednesday travelling 80 km/h above the posted limit.
Police say the 32-year-old driver of the grey Cadillac CTS is charged with stunt driving and speeding. His name has not been released.
His license has been suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.
If convicted he could spend up to six months in jail, be fined up to $10,000, face up to a two-year license suspension and lose six demerit points.
