The Amherstburg Fire Department quickly knocked down a fire on Dalhousie St. this morning.
The fire started in a large air compressor on the 300-block of Dalhousie causing $40,000 in damage.
The compressor was a total loss, however, the quick work of the fire department prevented the spread of the fire to a nearby trailer and fuel tanks.
Farms, nurseries, cafés, a distillery, and other local businesses will be welcoming people who take part in this year's Taste Real's Spring Rural Romp.
