Windsor police are investigating after a man was found collapsed in a field half a kilometer away from the wreck of his vehicle.
A citizen was driving along Banwell Rd. south of the E.C. Row Exwy. around 2:30am Wednesday, when he spotted the vehicle in the ditch.
When officers arrived at the scene, the driver was nowhere to be found, so the K-9 unit was brought in.
They found the man in his early 20s lying in a field. Police think he may have walked the distance before he collapsed.
He's in the hospital with unknown injuries, but police say he was able to talk to officers.
