The Windsor Express fell 103-96 to the Halifax Hurricanes on Saturday.
The Express trailed Halifax 32-27 at the end of the first quarter, but gained a 49-45 lead at halftime. However, as the third quarter wound down, the Hurricanes regained a 76-72 advantage. Windsor kept it close in the final frame but couldn't catch up to Halifax, falling with a seven point deficit.
Chris Commons scored a game high 26 points for Windsor, while Brandon Robinson had 24 points and nine rebounds.
The Express will travel to Saint John on Friday to take on the Mill Rats at 7pm.
