Travellers can expect traffic delays this summer along County Rd. 42 in Lakeshore.
The County of Essex has approved about $1.1-million in road work along the roadway at Elmstead Rd. and at Hwy. 77.
SLR Contracting Group Inc. came in as the cheapest bid on both projects.
The company won the contract for the work on the culvert over the 8th Concession Drain with its bid of $702,000. It also won the culvert work over the 6-7 Sideroad Drain with its bid of nearly $438,000.
Construction is expected to last about three weeks.
