Suspect Arrested For Two Robberies

A man wanted in connection with two convenience store robberies has been arrested by Windsor police.

Officers were called to a corner store in the 600-block of Wyandotte St. W Friday night for a robbery. The suspect allegedly entered, demanded cash and left with some money.

Police allege the same man is responsible for unsuccessfully trying to rob the Mac's on Ouellette Ave. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the 25-year-old suspect was located by police in the area of Victoria Ave. and Wyandotte St. W and was arrested.

He has been charged with two counts of robbery.
